The family of veteran actor Pete Edochie has reached out to the Department of State Services (DSS) to demand the arrest of a Tiktoker who circulated false reports of his death.
The move comes after both Edochie’s family and management debunked the viral claims about the actor’s demise.
MaaziTV reports that Edochie’s first son, Leo Edochie, had earlier shared a video on his Instagram page describing the death rumours as “a lie from the pit of hell.”
In a Facebook post on Thursday evening, Leo revealed that he had contacted the DSS to ensure the arrest of the Tiktoker responsible for the false report. He also announced a reward for anyone who provides information that could lead to the individual’s apprehension.
Sharing a photo of the Tiktoker, Leo wrote: “This young man posted a video on tiktok that our father is dead. His handle is @ONE_BOR 001.
“Anyone with information that will lead to his arrest will be handsomely rewarded in cash. I have contacted DSS and they are on his trail.
“DM me with the information, as soon as he is arrested, you will get your reward in cash.”
